Privacy Policy

Last updated: 31 October 2026

Papaya ("we", "us") runs the creative apps at papayaos.app. This policy explains what we collect and why. Questions: hdavy2005@gmail.com.

Using the apps without an account

The editors run in your browser on your own device. Files you open, edit and save stay on your device unless you choose to save them to your Papaya account. Your app preferences are kept in your browser's storage.

If you create an account

Sign-in is handled by our provider Clerk. When you sign in with Google or an email code we receive your email address, your name and profile picture (if you share them), and an account ID. We use these only to run your account: to show who is signed in, keep your wallet balance and, as features arrive, your saved files. We do not sell your data and do not use it for advertising.

Google sign-in

If you sign in with Google we request only your basic profile (name, email address, picture). We do not access your Gmail, Drive, contacts or any other Google data. Our use of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.

Where data is stored

Account data is stored with our service providers: Cloudflare (hosting and database) and Clerk (sign-in). They process it on our behalf. Payment details, when top-ups are available, will be handled by the payment provider and never stored by us.

Keeping and deleting your data

We keep your account data while your account is open. To delete your account and its data, email us from the address you signed up with and we will do it within 30 days.

Cookies

We use only the cookies and browser storage needed for signing in and for the apps to work. No advertising or tracking cookies.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date above and, for significant changes, tell signed-in users.
